What data we process

  • Contact and billing data: first name, surname, address, email, phone, company name and VAT number if you ask for an invoice.
  • Order data: the products bought and the personalisation content (texts, property names, CIN codes, logos you send us).
  • Payment data: handled directly by the payment providers. We neither see nor store card numbers.
  • Browsing data: IP address, device, pages viewed, through cookies and similar technologies.

Why we process it and on what basis

  • Fulfilling the order and providing support — performance of the contract (art. 6.1.b).
  • Tax and accounting obligations — legal obligation (art. 6.1.c).
  • Security and fraud prevention — legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f).
  • Newsletter and marketing messages — only with your consent (art. 6.1.a), which you can withdraw at any time from the link at the foot of every email.
  • Visit statistics and advertising measurement — only with your consent (art. 6.1.a), through Google Analytics and Google Ads.
  • Google Ads enhanced conversions — only with your consent (art. 6.1.a). When you complete an order, your email address and, if provided, your phone number are turned into an irreversible code (SHA-256 hash) and sent to Google in that form; Google compares it with its own data to link the purchase to the ad you clicked. Google does not receive your address in clear text, but the code is still personal data: you can withdraw your consent at any time from the cookie banner.

Who we share data with

Only with parties we need in order to provide the service, appointed as data processors:

  • Shopify (e-commerce platform and payments)
  • PayPal (payments)
  • Couriers for delivery
  • Our accountant for bookkeeping
  • Google Ireland Ltd. (Google Analytics and Google Ads): traffic and advertising conversion measurement. These tools run only with your consent to statistics and marketing cookies, which you can refuse or withdraw at any time from the cookie banner. With enhanced conversions Google also receives your email address, and your phone number if you provided one, as an SHA-256 hash.

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area: where that happens, the transfer relies on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. We do not sell your data to anyone.

How long we keep it

  • Order and billing data: 10 years, as tax law requires.
  • Personalisation files and production drawings: 24 months, so we can remake the same piece or a matching one for you.
  • Newsletter data: until consent is withdrawn.

Your rights

You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to info@axislab.it: we reply within 30 days. If you believe the processing breaches the GDPR you can turn to the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).

We use technical cookies, needed for the site to work, and — only with consent — measurement and marketing cookies. You can change your choices at any time from the banner or from the "Cookie preferences" link at the foot of every page.
