HOW IT'S MADE

• CorTen steel plate (self-weathering steel)
• Text cut by laser
• A pattern of decorative holes along the lower sides
• Circular element in the middle with a house number, a logo or a word
• Mounted with exposed screws at the 4 corners — included
• Natural oxidation: warm tones from brown to rust

PERSONALISATION

You choose:

• The main text (e.g. "GARAGE", "WORKSHOP", "STUDIO", your business name)
• The number or text in the central circle (e.g. a house number, a year, initials, a simple logo)

WANT YOUR OWN LOGO?

You can replace the number in the circle with your own logo or symbol.

What it needs to be:

• Format: SVG, AI or vector PDF
• Black and white, with no gradients
• Lines at least 1.5 mm thick at real scale
• Very thin or very detailed elements may not survive the cut in CorTen

ABOUT THE MATERIAL — CORTEN STEEL

CorTen is a special steel that develops a surface oxide layer. The patina shifts from the initial grey-orange to a warm brown over a few weeks, depending on exposure to moisture.

Pieces made in CorTen steel go on changing in appearance over time. The rust finish can vary in tone, intensity and evenness according to weather exposure and surroundings.

During the first phase of oxidation, and until the protective patina has fully settled, the material may release rust residue or leave marks on surfaces it touches (paving, walls, fabrics and so on). Avoid direct contact with delicate or absorbent surfaces during this period.

Every piece is unique in how it looks and in how its patina develops.

PRODUCTION TIMES

Each piece is made to order within 1-2 working days. If you would like to receive it already oxidised, allow 1 to 2 weeks for the rust to form.
